Critique Subgroup Member: I love the theme of this cake. You have a simple but effective design. I like the seashells on the bottom...not too many, but good effect. They look great to me--very natural with the colors and rough/smooth spots. It looks to me like the blue icing is a bit marbled, which adds depth to the water. It could be a bit smoother on the sides. The simple writing and blue ribbon are great for the board. Great job.

Critique Subgroup Member: your dolphins are amazing, but they blend into the water a bit, otherwise it is a fantatsic cake

Critique Subgroup Member: wow- you were way too hard on yourself about the seashells- they are fantastic! Especially for handmade. My hat's off to you. :) I love how the dolphins blend in with the water- everything looks awesome. :) Great cake

Critique group member: very creative design. I like these cakes which seem to move with action. This one certainly does with the dolpins flipping about. Agree the animals could be a different color than the water to make them stand out more.

Critique subgroup member: WOW I like how you have the dolphins coming out of the water. Maybe smaller seashells and more of them and maybe a little bit of "sand". Other than that you did an excellent job on this cake.

Critique group member.. Great design I love the dolphins and how they are in and out fo the water. I agree that maybe a different color for them.. maybe a bit grayer? I also agree that more shells and sand would be a great addition.

Critique Group Member: Your dolphins are awesome!! I do think the buttercream around the sides could have been a bit smoother; but the overall appearance is great!!

Critique subgroup member: Yes, your seashells need a little help as you stated and it seems too blue and could have an accent color, green maybe? Anyway, your dolphins are very well done but three or five works better for a number on them. Your cake board is excellent!!!! As is your handwriting!!!! Overall tho this cake is very pretty and really shows movement!

Critique group member: Too cool! I love the design! The dolfins are incredible although I think it would have been better if they were grayer.

critique group member: I love this...the color might be a bright blue but it looks SO cheery!!! And I have seen LOTS of those same kind of shells that color...I think you did a great job of placing them!! And your writing well...is just perfect!!! The ONLY thing I see that is a little off is the dolphins color, but still it wouldn't of been as bright and cheery if you made them gray, SO..with that said I think it's AWESOME!!!! :D

Did you make the dolphins by hand? I would love instructions. They are awesome!
