I made this cake for a young woman's sweet 16 birthday party. Her only request was that the cake have the colors blue, pink, and green and that it incorporated polka dots, stripes, and swirls. The bottom tier was chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing, the middle tier was french vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filing and icing, and the top tier was french vanilla cake with blueberry filling and vanilla buttercream icing. The polka dots and stripes were made from fondant.
