My dear friends baby boy's first birthday party was tonight! I made him this bob the builder cake. both tiers are vanilla with buttercream frosting. the bricks and signs on the sides of the bottom cake are made out of fondant and then of course bob and muck are toys! I had SO MUCH FUN making this cake...of course...i still need to work on smoothing the basic coat of icing...i am not good at that...but hopefully after class II, III and IV I will be better!
