This cake was devil's food cake with chocolate buttercream and vanilla buttercream for the decorations. I had a lot of fun playing with the colors making two tone roses in various shades of pink. You can't see the sides but I used a star tip with chocolate buttercream to make swirl designs and rosettes bordered the bottom. I was only asked to make this on Tuesday night and she wants to pick it up tomorrow (friday) morning.
