Thanks for your comments! :) I made this for a bridal shower, I wanted it to look like lace.. So i bought a foot of a plastic-like material and rolled it over the fondant. I used CK brand midnight blue luster dust. over Satin ice fondant... I used a 11x15 sheet cake pan and two 5" round glass bakeware bowls, and let the cake overflow off the top giving it the "round" look. Then I froze the parts and cut and shaved them the way they needed to look, also while the cake is still frozen i frosted it...
.. with butter cream and when the buttercream got cold it made it easier to "sculpt" the shape i needed out of the frosting... Then i covered in fondant. The hardest part was keeping the blue lusterdust where I needed it and not all over the silver or on the "cleavage" I did that by using Seran Wrap on the edges while i dusted.
