i made this cake last minute for my dh to take to work with him. it's a red velvet cake, frosted and decorated with sugarshack's buttercream. i am a critique subgroup member, so all comments are welcome.
Critique Subgroup Member: Oh this is pretty! I like the design. Two items to look at next time, get rid of the foil it takes away from the pretty cake get some nice cake foil from Michaels with your 40% off coupon less than 5 bucks that way. And push down some of the peaks with a little powdered suger finger. Again, it is a pretty design and your frosting is very smooth!!!!!!

critique subgroup member: Love the sides of this cake! the alternating color stripes are great! Again remember when piping hearts, to bring the bottom of the heart to a point. I also think the cake board would have been better had it been heart shape also, and maybe covered in a color to compliment the cake! overall, very nice job!
