Flaming 50 Guitar
This is my 3rd or 4th guitar cake, this one was for a 50th birthday for a rock -n roll theme party. I tried a new system for attaching the strings, I like it best so far. I thank God for pre-colored Satin Ice - Red and Black - saved a ton of time! The back stage pass was printed on paper then laminated, I thought it added a special touch, I'd love to do this in gumpaste one day. Thanks for looking!!

Thanks all! For the strings, I used blending fillament (for cross stitch). I used to tie them to thumbtacks and stick into the cake, but this time I put the string between two pieces of gumpaste and let dry, I then stuck that to the cake. You can see the difference on one of the other guitar cakes I've got posted.
