My question is, did you assemble it with wedges or did you shave the base of every cake and assembled the cake with dowels?I made my first topsy just yesterday and i assembled it with wedges, the thing is that the top part of my of my bottom cake looks like a marshmallow while the top of the cake you used as a base is nice and flat, how did you do that?Congrats for the cake!!
thanks! I cut the top of the cake at an angle the spun the top so the thick part was on the top . so it made an angle. Tehn for each layer I tryed to cut the hole so it would sit in there level. It wasn't quite purfect. I like the bottom layer but I think the top two are two angled. But it was fun. Thanks again! :)

i love the color scheme.. and awesome job!! one question though.... did you paint the stripes on or use fondant cut-outs?
