Chocolate buttercream with gumpaste callas. Kind of unusual with the fondant dots, but when I got done with it , I really liked it. It kind of gave it a bit of a funky look with the traditional flowers.
This is a beautifully arranged picture. The cakes are beautiful too and the contrast is great! Would love to know what recipe you use too! I thought it was fondant, it's so smooth! :D
I can't find a chocolate syup buttercream. Can you give us an idea of where it is. I only saw the chocolate syrup frosting, but it didn't look like a buttercream. Plates are beautiful, did she use vases and secure the cake round to it?
I really like it. very smooth look. gonna save this one. :D
I really like the look of the "funky" and traditional! I love to mix the two - great job!
I love it..what did you use to make the callas..and I thought they were fondant covered..so smooth.. :)
Thanks for the nice comments. I used gumpaste for the callas.
Very well done. Did you make the cake stands, too? Love them! - Theresa :)
The cake stands were provided by the bride.
Love it. How did you get your chocolate so dark. I've tried, but haven't been able to getit that dark.
Very cute. What recipe did you use for the choc. buttercream?
Very elegant and modern at the same time. I'd definitely like to have these
Beautiful, and the perfect stands too! Can I ask where you found them?
These are gorgeous !! love the polka dots :D & your calla lilies are beautiful !
Great job!! Love the deep chocolate of the buttercream, the overall cake designs, and how the stands help to give that funky look.
Divine! :D
The chocolate syrup frosting recipe is the one I am referring to. Sorry if I misled you.
