Critique group member: There are some cracks in the Superman symbol, not sure how to prevent that?! Otherwise, the symbols look really good. Not sure I love the white background. Overall I like the concept and I think you did a nice job executing it.

Critique group member: Very cool I love the symbols! I think the cake would have looked better if the background was a deep blue, I think the symbols would have really popped. Alos the top seems a little crowded, I maybe would have picked one for the top and done the other two for the side, or just have usewd a bigger cake.

Critique group member: Very creative, Katherine! I agree that another color background and a slightly larger cake would make this look fantastic. Maybe try color flow to avoid the cracking of the royal icing?

critique subgroup member: I think the symbols turned out great, despite the tiny cracking! I am one of those who tend to frost all my cakes white (I forget to step outside the box often) I am wondering if a blue colored cake board cover would have added enough color to accent the toppers?? Also just a suggestion on the shell border.. try to make each shell be separate from the last, not each dragging into the next. Also each shell should be bigger at the start of each shell &taper off to a point.greatcake!

These symbols are very cool! Too bad about the cracking...it is perfect otherwise. I agree that a darker icing would have looked great on the cake...or just a darker board cover. I also agree that a slightly bigger cake would have helped the cake look much less crowded.

Critique subgroup member: You know some of these logos look familiar LOL. Anyway, I think I would have carried some color into the border and you need to make your shell trail more distinct. Go slower. Logos turned out great!

Critique subgroup member: I personally like the white on white, as it really brought out your colors. Your logos are terrific! The only thing I can say is that I would have used a different cake board- maybe a deep blue. :)

Critique Group Member: Cute cake. I think the above suggestions are good. I would add to make the plaques thinner.

critique subgroup member: really cute! i'm a huge batman fan, so that one's my favorite! you already know about the cracks in superman and i also think it's a bit crowded. i have trouble with my shell border too, but it will come in time. in the close-up of the flash logo, it looks like there are some spatula marks in the frosting, but otherwise, i think it's great!

Critique Group Member: Great symbols! Works nicely using the full top of the cake. I like the white but would suggest adding some of those vibrant colors to the bottom border (maybe an overlay or dots (?)). Great design and nice floodwork.
