San Diego Chargers Jersey

This is a 9x13 white almond sour cream cake with whipped bc filling. I was inspired by the many "hockey" jerseys that I've seen on this site! This is covered in fondant; the numbers were cut out by hand (the age in which my husband was celebrating for his golden birthday) and the lightning bolts on the sleeves were drawn with edible markers by hand. This was such a fun cake to do! I really just winged it on the sleeves! My husband grew up in San Diego and is a die hard Charger fan! Thanks for looking!

What a great year to give him this jersey since the Chargers went to the playoffs! The cake turned out great!

Oh! Thanks about the contrast...that's how the NEW jerseys are! They actually have the dark blue on the lightning bolts as well but I didn't have that in the edible marker! :lol: Thanks for all the nice comments! :D

Great cake!! I just bought a book called "the sheet cake way" or something like that, that has a jacket on the front; your cake reminds me of that!!
