Roses on Cake Central

White cake with raspberry cream filling and buttercream icing. I wanted to try a new white cake recipe and get more practice with roses. The design is based on one I've seen in a Wilton book. Constructive criticism welcomed- thanks for looking.

I really messed up the icing right under the roses. I wish I had put the roses on before I piped the scrolls, then I could have fixed up the sides a bit. Well, now I know....

This is a wonderful color combination and the design is simple and elegant. For constructive criticism I might suggest putting a ribbon around the edge of the cake board so the wrinkles don't show. That scroll right in the front is not quite smooth...mine aren't either. Practice is getting them better, though. Great job, I love this one.
