Chocolate & Buttercream
I decided to experiment with some of the books I own but have never used and this was one of the results, a chocolate cupcake from "bake me I'm yours... Cupcake" by J & G Belgrove topped with Rose Levy Beranbaum's classic buttercream. I rushed the piping of the buttercream, I could have made it neater but I had lost track of time and it was 2am by the time I was putting the cakes together - the result was yummy, worth the effort.
Your Chocolate Flower is Beautiful. Can you share with us how you made it?
Nice idea! I've got the same little flower veiner as you ... did you use chocolate or is it brown fondant/sugar paste?
