This cake is very pretty. 8) for a teen. I am so wanting to make a cake like this. I've been doing cakes for a little over a year now and am so excited to try a cake like this. You inspire me. What kind of fondant do you use? I have tried the wilton ready to use, but I didn't like the way it taste. Does it have a taste? Help! Again, great cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks a lot for the nice comments , the fondant is by Bakels , its and Aussie company (I am in Sydney) and it has no taste and is awesome to work with , the wires are already covered when I purchase them from my cake supplier , this is the cheats way of doing a topsy turvy, anyone want the details just pm with your email address

This is one of the nicest topsy turvy cakes I've seen. Some of them tend to be over decorated for my taste. This is nice and simple and clean and beautiful. I love it! For the first time, I actually think I might want to try one because of this cake.

Just wonderful! Do you place the stripes over a fondant covered layer, or directly to buttercream coat?
