Aunty Maeve's Golden Jubilee
I made this cake for my Aunt's Golden Jubilee celebration - 50 years a nun! Decided to do the photos again, as it's such a great idea for remembering special times over a long period. All fondant with edible images. Frame is mexican paste, with edible image. Terrible photo of cake, but I forgot to take a good one before the knife was stuck in!!
What a wonderful gift for your aunt! Its such an elegant looking cake (down to the cake board). The pictures really make these special cakes!

This is amazing! My friend wants me to make one similar for a 50th wedding anniversary (and I am a novice cake decorator, so I know it will never come out as beautifuk as yours!) Would you mind sendingme some pointers as well in regards to the edible photos and the frame? Would this work on buttercream (I have not worked with fondant yet, aside from accents.)
