Bubble Border Cake

Hi sugar friends! I call this the bubble border cake because it reminds me of bubbles :-) Fondnat covered, quilting on middle (VERY easy!) gp flowers. I'll post a close shot of the flowers next. Questions? Please feel free to e-mail me: [email protected] Thanks for peeking! Jennifer Dontz - Traveling Sugar Art Teacher Instructional DVD author

Beautiful as always! This one actually looks like I could attempt it, but I won't. Your cakes are so beautiful...what do you do with them, or are they cake dummies?

Thanks ladies! The bubble border is easy. Just start out with a large, round tip, then pipe smaller balls with a smaller round tip, then add silver dragees. There's really not a whole lot to it. HTH! Jen :-)

Vicky - Most of what I post are actual (real) wedding cakes. I have LOTS of them that I've never posted to CC, so I just go grab one in my files :-)

Just beautiful. I like the bubbles too, but I really like the contrast of the different design of each tier. Very striking! Kiddiekakes, you can get the metal diamond thing for the quilting (or pillowing) online and at cake supply stores.

Outstanding and so elegant as usual! You have a real talent for making the cakes look so elegant and yet so simple. Thank you for sharing your work with us. It is a real inspiration!
