I used edible images and had the poem printed on them and then carefully placed them on the cake. The thing, the edible image sheets come as 8x10, so I thought I could cut them long ways to make 4"x10" sheets and get more for my buck. But then when you cut a poem in half it doesn't line up right! So I had to measure the circumfrence of each cake and print each layer set properly so that it would line up and you could read the whole poem. I think it's written 4.5 times

in a very tedious process! I am so glad I did this on a dummy cake first and if you ever choose to do it, charge a LOT!
