Fabulous At 40 - With Some Help
I was inspired by many of the other bathtub cakes posted by CC members. My version incorporates many inside jokes relevant to the birthday person, as well as some obvious aging humor. The decorations are all fondant. The tub is almond pound cake.

so much fun! i love the details! but, what are the books about? I can´t read them...
The writing didn't show up well in the photo. The books are titled "Menopause," "Hormones & You" and "I Hate My Neck" (a take on Nora Efron's book about aging). There's also an "Early Bird Special" coupon, and two brochures - a Liposuction Clinic with the slogan "More Suck for Your Buck" and "Boobs for Less." The other items are Vagisil, Gas-X, Pepto Bismol, wrinkle cream and Preparation H. The Prada bag is a knock-off with the "R" spelled backwards and a pricetag of $19.99.
