This cake was made with love for my niece's 2nd birthday. The party was a western theme with a girly twist. The cake was inspired by "cakecentral" and the color scheme was designed to match the invitations. I had so much fun making this cake, it was my first BIG cake and my first time decorating with fondant accents.

I love this cake! I am going to have a western party for my daughter's 2nd birthday coming up soon and this will be perfect! How did you make the hat? And if this matches the invitations, where did they get them? Thanks for any tips!

I cheated on the hat....it is a hat from a doll! I was too scared to try and make the hat from fondant. The invitations were hand made by my sister-in-law! She used paisley stamps from stampin up! She got a lot of inspiration for the party from orientaltrading.com. Good Luck with the party! Happy Birthday to your daughter!
