Fresh Calla Lilies
Hi sugar friends! This is another cake I did for the John Henry floral book. I LUVED the way it turned out! They flew florists in to do the fresh flowers. The cake has fondant panels on it. I'm a past florist, would have LUVED to dive into the flower portion, but that wasn't my job.... Thanks for peeking! Oh, the stroked the stems of the flowers to get them into those nice curving shapes :-) Jennifer Dontz - Traveling Sugar Art Teacher

Callas are my favorite flower and the way they are displayed on this cake is pure genious!! I love the cake so much! The pleating and display is so elegant.
mlwideman - I totally agree, being a past florist, I learned something from them :-) I didn't know you could do that to a call a stem.
