I made this cake for a recital at my grandson's school. By request it was a standard white cake w/ buttercream. All black pieces were fondant except the tuning pegs, which were modeling chocolate. The book is also white cake with buttercream and 2 edible images scanned from the violin practice book. the book and violin were hand carved, I don't like to use pre-shaped pans unless requested.
