In album: pink-rose
11 x 15 white sheet cake. Cornelli lace is RI and the rest is buttercream. I just realized when I downloaded this pic to my cpu that I forgot to put rosebuds by the bottom rose. (oops)

Lovely. Your borders are perfect!!!

critique group member: Great job on this one. The roses are very nice, bc smooth, shells look good. The handwriting is nice, although I think the word "birthday" might be crooked. My only other matter of opinion is the foil board cover, I'm not a fan of the foil. Great overall presentation. Very pretty.

critique group member: Your shade of pink is beautiful and your roses look perfect. I can't find a bad thing to say

critique subgroup member: very pretty cake. very nice piping of borders. Cornelli lace also very good. my only suggestion would be the size of the writing in proportion to the plaque area. If leaving the plaque area that big, the writing should be bigger to fill the area. I also love the addition of the rose buds on the cake board.

critique group member: Beautiful cake! Your flowers are wonderful and that cornelli lace is perfect. I agree with the comment that the "writing area" is too big for the writing that is there. Maybe that could be scaled down and the cake could have more flowers and lace next time. Your borders are wonderful and your bc is so smooth. Very nice job.

Critique group submember: Stunning design, lovely colors, borders and cornelli. Only think the plaque area writing needs to be bigger. Oh and what do you have covering your board? 'm hoping it is not tinfoil. LOL. I adore the attention to deatil and the little rosebuds at the corners.

Critique group member: its a stunning cake. Your borders are always so perfect! The only comment I can make, and its probably only a personal preference, is the cornelli lace work. I think it is prettier when it is done very finely and a bit thinner than what you have done. Perfect roses and vines. I like the smaller writing - it makes it understated and elegant.

Critique group member: Absolutely beautiful! The roses are gorgeous and all your borders are perfect! I personally like the small writing but I think the big square look kind of bare. Maybe a a couple of rosebuds in a corner or some scroll work, I don't know but it looks like it is missing something.

critique group member: I read the other comments but I have to say that I think the writing and the entire design looks perfect. I love the simple but elegant look to it. The only thing I don't really like is the shiny cake board but, hey, that's not really the cake and the cake is awesome. :)
