Sweet 16 Cake
Here's a pic of my first gift box cake made for a client who requested a mauve, gold and ivory cake. Tiers are 12", 8" and 6" cakes. Bottom and top tiers are 3 layers of vanilla chiffon cake with vanilla splash and vanilla buttercream. Middle tier is chocolate fudge cake with vanilla buttercream. Iced in buttercream with fondant designs and bow.
Thanks a lot! I brushed the bow and cut-outs with pearlescent luster dust but I really wanted more shine and no color at all....Does anyone have any ideas on getting a completely colorless, satiny shine on fondant?
