Christmas Bow And Names

Christmas Bow And Names on Cake Central

Ten-inch chocolate peppermint cake with alternating layers of pepperming buttercream and chocolate fudge filling, covered in fondant. The bow loops are dusted on the inside with red pearl dust to give a satin effect and on the outside with powdered color over tacky lemon extract for a flocked effect. It looks really cool in person! Names are freehanded in royal icing.

Thank you all so much for the nice compliments. Good penmanship is just one of my gifts. I'm a calligrapher, too. Tacky lemon extract is just extract that is still a little damp.
