Snowflakes
well, i thought i had something different for once but then i actually looked on the site and saw i wasn't the only one with the same idea. oh, well. white cake. all buttercream with cake sparkles on top.

Beautiful! Shines so nicely. Also, great job on those side snowflakes - bet that was tough to pipe!
thank you! actually the piping wasn't so bad. what was difficult was trying to figure out different snowflake patterns. i was really going for the "no two snowflakes are alike" thing. that took forever!
Beautiful cake!! FYI-in galleries under sketches, patterns and templates there are a couple of enteries with different snowflake patterns. This may help in the future. :(
