Christmas Coconut Cake
This past weekend, I was hired to cater a Christmas Open House. The theme for this event was... "T'was the night before Christmas"... hence the two mice in front of the cake! The cake was a recipe using creme de coconut and the icing was from Paula Deen's Desserts Cookbook... 7-minute frosting. EVERYONE loved the cake and said the moistness was fabulous. Oh that looks and sounds delicious! Did you sub the creme de coconut in for another flavor or is it a special recipe? I have some and would love to try it in a cake.
