Piano Cake
Inspired by the many piano cakes I've seen here on CC, I made this dummy cake just to see what I could do. All BC. My daughter came home from school and thought I had ventured into fondant! (yep, I took that a a great compliment!) Working with so much black icing on white is very stressful and more practice is needed before I offer this one for sale. Feedback, suggestions and critique welcome! The dummies are 12/8.
I thought the piano keys were fondant too until I read what your daughter said. It looks great. Would be perfect for a music teacher.

Debi--I too thought you had ventured into fondant--I was all set to give you a "way to go" on your first fondant, but heck when you can do BC like that, why bother with fondant!!!!
