Puppy First Birthday
Customer found this cake design online (so if its yours, feel free to claim it! She just sent me the photo) but instead of the cookie it showed on top, she wanted a little cake to look like her baby's favorite Gund puppy. My son has one of these too so I knew it well. Haha. She was thrilled with how it turned out. I wasn't big on the design at first but once I finished I actually thought it kind of cute. Made polka dot dog bone cookies too.
Oops! Just now realized, looking at the photo, I forgot to do some squiggly lines on the top tier corners! Oh well she didn't seem to notice, hope she won't! BTW the top puppy is the smash cake.

Would you consider sending a sketch of the scratch pieces...especially the head? Very, very well done!
Actually most of the shaping is done with icing! I carved the pieces into kind of flat spheres and built like a two ball snowman and then just added icing here and there, and then piped the legs, feet, and nose area, and ears. Thanks!
