This is a doctored chocolate cake with almond buttercream filling and icing. I couldn't find candy cane stick so I broke regular candycanes into small sticks and alternated them with lady fingers around the cake. Then I added little 'snow' mounds on the top to make it look like fluffy snow piles. In the middle is crushed candycane sprinkles with ground up mini chocolate chips. I donated this to a school for the staff dinner during parent-teacher interview time - hoping to get some business from it.
