Winter Snowflake Wedding

Winter Snowflake Wedding on Cake Central

Hi sugar friends! One more seasonal one for you :-) This was probably my favorite winter wedding of all those I've done. I LOVED all the detail on this cake. You would not believe how it shimmered, too. I used lots of disco dust and made Jack Frost whisps of frost by painting a whisp of water on the cake, then placing disco dust on it, it looked really cool! Snowflake topper is gp. Thanks for peeking! Jennifer Dontz Traveling sugar art teacher

Beautiful cake, buy I have to ask ... do you deliver them together or apart and assemble when you deliver? If so how do you keep all the decorations so perfect. Your work is amazing.

I usually only deliver with two layers on top each other, then add the rest onsite. I use my large Wilton bent spatuala to help put the layers together, it works great and slides out with ease after the layer is placed. HTH! Jen :-) If you have any more questions, feel free to e-mail me: [email protected]

What a fantastic artist!!! How do you do it. Do you have a family that suports the hours that it takes? Just wondering. I drive my family crazy with my interest in cakes. :P

cocobean - Yes, my family has been pretty suportive over the years. That really is the hardest part with cakes, balancing your time and knowing when to say no. Jen :-)
