white cake, cbc icing with red coloring. green is wbc. This was my first paid for cake. I charged $20.

Thank you for your nice comments! Every one on here has such sweet and encouraging things to say. I used the viva method to get my icing smooth. I love that method, it works wonders! :) You just ice your cake and let it crust, then lay a viva paper towel on top and smooth it with your spatula. You can also put your hand on the paper towel while it is on the cake, and your body temp will soften the icing. That helps when it won't smooth well.

Thanks!! :D I agree....but I'm just getting started and I don't really know how much to charge. This was a 1/4 sheet....next time maybe $30????
