Two 8" rounds carved and stacked together to form figure 8 track. Half sports ball pan on top, with tunnel carved through the middle for car to race through. All buttercream.

Very cute. What did you use to cover the board? Does the tunnel go all the way through or just enough to put the car in?
The board is just corrugated cardboard covered in plastic vinyl tablecloth. The tunnel does go all the way through - you could see through the other side! TFL :)

I had a customer who wanted a Cars cake and I showed her this one and some others from CC for ideas and she loved yours hands down. So I made my own "LOW budget" lol, version of it. Anyway here is the link and thanks for the inspiration, it really is a cute design you came up (...)
