buttercream icing, satin ribbon, silver dragees and gumpaste orchids. this is the first time i've done the sugar orchids. at first i was really skeptical about the icing "dripping" on the top edge, but the bride specifically asked for it. after seeing it all put together though i really like the way it turned out. strawberry, vanilla, chocolate cake with mousse filling.
