Halloween Brew
3-layer yellow butter cake "cauldron" filled with raspberry jam and dark chocolate buttercream. "Brew" consisted of jellybeans as the soup base, gummy worms, gumpaste finger, and eyeball made from a ginormous white gumball. Also sesame sticks as "wood", gumpaste flames, and royal icing spiderwebs.
Love the eyeball and the finger. Makes it look nice and gruesome... like you cooked someone down to body parts! Great Halloween cake.
Very creative use of candies. I'm sure it was a hit!
