beautiful cake and I love all the piping. I personally dont like the bottom border, it takes a bit away from the side piping. And the blank space, but you already talked about that ;)
once again your piping is perfect as well as your smoothness- it's incredible how consistant you are with that. I don't usually care for the 'plain Jane' flower cakes, but I am really impressed with your talents
Stunning work on the scrolls and mums. Would have had the same comment on the blank space but you already addressed that. With such perfect piping work I'm suprised your writing isn't great also (do you use any of the lettering sets or presses?).
snowshoe, I have some but I don't use them most of the time because most people want names on the cake too. On this particular cake they wanted 3 names since it was a birthday party for 3 people. Seriously, the handwriting was bad.
Very pretty top. Not sure I care for the line on the bottom border though. Your colors are so muted and lovely. You have a very nice palate. Your piping is exquisite. I know who to come to for advice!
beautiful job! your piping is perfect.. so even and flowing! my only issue with this cake being the open area is quite large, and to fill it with writing, might be overbearing to the beautifully done mums??
Critique group member: Very pretty, I love the colors! I alos love the piping on the sides although I agree that the bottom border detracts from it and then there's that empty space...
I had writing on the finished cake but my writing is so awful that I decided to post a pic without it  .

this is pretty lovely! It is a smooth as a baby's bum. lol
Thank you! I wish I could have gotten a clearer picture of the mums
BEAUTIFUL! :D
I love your mums, the cake looks very elegant and like everyone else I love your piping skills

I love it! Very smooth buttercream and great mums!
I realized after I uploaded the pic that I forgot to put the leaves inbetween the mums. OOPS  - LOL
Oh, I absolutely love this. What a wonderful job you did.
