I made this for a potluck with friends...the cake design is from the Wilton Reference book. Inside is the freckled mocha cake with Bailey's mousse from the WBH cookbook. I think this was a one-time design...200 flowers takes forever! Thanks for looking.
Thank you both for the kind words! Actually, the flowers are buttercream...using the Air Dried buttercream recipe on this site. It's a great recipe b/c the flowers dry hard but are still soft to bite into!

200 flowers! The effect is so delicate and pretty. Did you make them in royal icing? They look so shiny pretty.
