Tried JaneK's instructions to smooth SMBC and was amazed.  The cake is yellow cake with chocolate SMBC filling.  The logo started out as food color marker on edible rice paper.  Then I tried painting on Gold Lustre and black mixed with a small amount of vodka.  It wrinkled a little, but still worked.

Very cool! I didn't even notice the wrinkles until I read your description and then I had to search for them! It looks really nice. Great job.

What an excellent job!! It looks just like the logo for Mizzou. I'm going to show this to my friends that have children there! I really like your border style too. You might want to add Mizzou to you keywords . . . .
