Thank you all so much for the compliments! K2cakes-the santa and reindeer are royal icing traced onto rice paper, then placed on the cake. I wish I could freehand that well with icing.

Can't believe you did santa and the deer out of ri - wow!! They look great, and I really like the rest of the cake design, i.e. the dark blue icing and cloud and moon accents. Awesome Christmas cake.
