Practice for the topper I hope to make for my brother's wedding cake. Roses made from white chocolate plastic. I placed them on toothpicks and then put into fondant-covered styrofoam dome.
Not a dumb question at all. I didn't know what chocolate plastic was a few months ago. It is a mixture of white chocolate and corn syrup that is easy to mold. Once it cools off it holds its shape very well. I find that it tastes so much better than fondant or gumpaste. Personal preference maybe?
