This cake was made from oval cakes stacked and carved to shape. It is covered in rolled buttercream. The winds were added after it was covered. I marked it up using a fork, then added the head. It is a sausage of fondant and a round ball on top with a skewer inside. The eyes, beak and gobbler are also fondant. The tail feathers are gumpaste made on a skewer dried over flower formers them painted with luster dust. The ruffle in front of thetail feathers is also rolled buttercream. Hope that helps. :D
