I used a mix of yellow cake, light brown sugar, glitter, vanilla cookies to make the sand and for the water I used different color get and butter cream to make the surf.

Looks great. Reminds me of a cake my mom made for my sister too many years ago. She used cinnamon sugar for sand and gel for ocean.
