In: Spiderman in album: Children's Birthday Cakes
I made this for my sons 6th birthday. He took it into school and the kids loved it. 11 x 15, half white half chocolate cake. FBCT. Didn't have any black food dye and had to mix a lot of colors to get my black and gray. Sorry about the poor quality picture...camera phone.

I have never done a FBCT, Spidy looks menacing. Good job on the grey and black! Have ya tried wrapping your boards yet? PM me if you need help.

great FBCT! Like I have said to others in the group, I am not a big fan of a star border, as you can see, it is difficult to keep them straight or even. I prefer shell borders when framing, they appear much cleaner.

Looks like your FBCTs are one of your fortes! Again, very detailed FBCT. Agree with patienceandpractice on the star border - I use it all the time and wish I would have done something else; its just so quick to do!

you've got the right touch for FBCT!! I like the stars on this one- it just seems to fit, to me.

Critique Group Member: Aren't FBCT's fun? I love doing them. Anyway, my critique here would be to measure the FBCT and then see how much room you'll have on each side to help better with centering. You can even mark the b/c where the edges of the FBCT will be and use that as your guide.
