I whipped this cake up this afternoon for the staff at the nursing home where my mother is. My Mom has been in and out of the hospitals and the nursing home since the 2nd week in June. She had surgery and ended up with MRSA (Staff infection) We have almost "lost" her a couple of times. The staff at the nursing home has been wonderful with her and they have really helped to keep her spirits up. We are hoping she will be home in a couple of weeks and not have another relapse.
