How did you make the black icing so that it didn't taste awful?
Thank you everyone for your comments! I used Super Black AmeriColor Soft Gel Paste Food Coloring for the black icing which works really well. I really can't taste it on the cookies - it might be because it's just a very thin coat of icing though. I think AmeriColor gels taste a lot better than the food coloring available at grocery stores. Hope that helps!
