This is a 16 inch round cake carved and covere in fondant. The rim is made out of handpainted gumpaste. All of the nubs are hand-formed fondant.

what did you paint the gumpaste with to make it look so silver?

I used Luster dust in Nu Silver. I mixed it with vodka in small portions and then brushed it on the dry gumpaste. I had to apply a few coats to get the color right
