Smash cake for a 1st birthday. Chocolate cake, of course, with BC. Gumpaste dots and "M" held w/ RI. This matched the invite perfectly for the colors, but I got off scale with the dots.

It started with some of the dots as a FBCT that went terribly awry. So I piped the colored frosting onto the cake in circles - patted down with my fingers and then did the VIVA method as best as I could. It was the first time for me to use gumpaste as well as wire decorations.
