The sugarpaste flower was purchased and I used a small brush to paint all the edges gold. Simple fondant strip on the top and little nubs for the clasp painted gold as well.
Thanks all :). Pretty straightforward techniques, I carved the shape out of pound cake laying down, then stood it up, covered in buttercream, chilled, then applied fondant. Quilted with a stitching wheel and attached the gold dragees with a drop of water.
