Ashleigh & James
This was a design by Edith Meyers , but we changed the colors of the waves, flowers and added a 5th tier. My FIRST (!) attempt at wired and taped gumpaste ranunculus (thank you shirleyw!!!) and freesias (i'm sure they are not totally botanically correct, but i am proud :-) ) , as well as accent fantasy flowers. fondant and dragees.
absolutely drop dead gorgeous! my hats off to you!
That turned out beautifully, Melysa! Was it worth all the hoopla to create a masterpiece? It is gorgeous!
Awesome job, everything looks flawless!

Great colors!
Very sweet, I like the design and colours.
great job
Weeirdest thing Melysa, I can view the flower photo alone, but can't open the cake photo. Anyway, your welcome for any help I was able to provide. You did a good job, only suggestion would be to roll the paste a bit thinner for the petals.
thank you for all the compliments. shirley, i agree the gumpaste wasnt thin enough. i think i was afraid of them breaking if i rolled them any thinner. BUT now i know (after they dried REALLY hard). however for a first time, i'm still happy with the result. they'll get better  thanks again.
That is a really pretty cake. I love the flowers and the colors
Stunning! So elegant, I love the splashes of color from the flowers.
Beautiful!!
what color did you use to get the tan color? this is so pretty
