This is one of my first ever cakes and definitely the first carved cake!  Look at that frosting.  This was before I understood about consistency! LOL  - Or the Melvira Method!  I had cake leftover so I decided to make the turtle!  Although I did notice that I combed the fins and they really looked good!  (Quit looking you can't tell-- just trust me! LOL)

You are TOO CUTE for posting these! I must say what you consider one of your "worst" is still pretty darned cute, and you can see the potential from a mile away. Although it is a little creepy to see Nemo served up on a platter :lol: Really, these are adorable cakes.

that is so true!! I didn't even think about that! It was the only plate I had and I didn't know about cake boards! :lol:
