Emmy624 on 12 Oct 2007 , 4:36am I never have trouble with dark colors regarding taste - I use the Wilton dyes... also for caketome - when the buttercream is thicker/stiffer (more confectioner's sugar) the roses are so much easier and then look neater - hope that helps :)
